About

From a young age I always had a keen interest in photos. I used to enjoy looking at them, studying them, imagining the scene in my head. I loved portraits, landscapes, people, events. The ones that fascinated me most were those in B&W and Sepia mainly because I loved looking at old photos, shots from the past. They all have a story behind them. My first mentor was my father who always loved taking photographs wherever we went. As I grew older, entered my teens then my studies took over but my love for photography never abated. While living in France, I purchased my first DSLR and started experimenting with it. It was only after my son was born that I decided to take up photography seriously so I attended 2 'Fast Track Photography' modules held by Kevin Casha, my second mentor. He taught me a great deal and I owe most of my work to him, he has been both encouraging as well as an inspiration to me aside from other pros like Kurt Arrigo, Darrin Zammit Lupi and Jonathan Beacom

Most of my work featured on this website was taken with a Canon Eos 400D and Eos 7D. This website covers my favourite shots, not only as regards professionality, but also the mood at the time the picture was taken and the story behind it. There is nothing like capturing a moment in a photograph, a story, a poem as that will remain with you for the rest of your life and passed on to generations that follow ours.

A little bit about me. Always hard on myself, close friends describe me as free-spirited, bohemian, bubbly, enthusiastic, caring, sensitive and straightforward. Aside from photography and my son Matt, another passion in my life is Formula 1 racing. Something that has grown with me since I was a small child. I enjoy writing, mostly travel stories, and have of late also tried my hand at poetry. Other sports I enjoy following are waterpolo, football and rugby. I am a qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. A bit of a fitness junkie myself, I love running, dance, and swimming. I work in the linguist section at the European Parliament, a post I took up in July 2013. I am currently reading an ACCA degree. I hope to one day also have the opportunity to read a degree in Photography. My word of advice to everyone, pursue your dreams, do not fear failure for only in failure do we have the opportunity to try again. Elbert Hubbard so rightly said 'There is no failure except in no longer trying.'

I dedicate this website to my family back home whom I so miss, and my dearest friends all over the world. Without them I am nobody.
